About the Alliance

Asian Palm Oil Alliance

The Asian Palm Oil Alliance (APOA) is an alliance of palm oil-consuming countries in Asia, initiated by Solidaridad in collaboration with leading edible oil industry associations.

Launched in September 2022, APOA provides a common platform for industry associations, businesses and other stakeholders to engage on palm oil trade, sustainability, policy and market development.

The Alliance aims to strengthen Asia’s role in shaping the global palm oil discourse by fostering regional cooperation, promoting informed dialogue and supporting the development of sustainable palm oil value chains that respond to the needs of Asian markets.
